Volunteer with Herts Pride
Volunteering at Herts Pride is a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, develop your skills, and be part of one of Hertfordshire’s most vibrant and inclusive events.
Whether this is your first time volunteering or you’ve supported events before, we welcome people from all backgrounds who want to help make Pride a safe, welcoming, and joyful day for everyone.
Ways to Get Involved
There are a variety of volunteer roles available across the event, including:
• Stewarding
• Supporting stall holders
• Backstage assistance
• Event set-up and clean-up
• Information and support roles
Volunteers can choose roles and shift times that suit their availability. Anyone volunteering for 6 hours or more will receive a £10 meal voucher as a thank-you for their time and support.
Training & Support
All volunteers will receive supervision, role-specific guidance, and health & safety information to help them feel confident in their role.
Successful applicants will be invited to attend a Volunteer Meet & Greet in July, where important event information, training, and final role details will be shared. Attendance at one Meet & Greet session is required.
Application Dates
Applications are open from January until the end of June.
